SwitchBlade Description

The SwitchBlade from Pace Edwards solves the issue of limited bed space that all other retractable covers don't account for. Newer crew cab trucks feature smaller beds that still need tonneau covers, but most retractable tonneau cannisters are too big, taking up 1 foot of an already small bed.

Pace Edwards features the first quickly removable retractable tonneau with the SwitchBlade. Total installation time takes 15 minutes. The only tool you'll need are a Phillips head screw driver and a 7/16" wrench. Hardware includes 4 clamps, 2 locator bolts to fasten the rails to the canister, and 4 screws to fasten the top cover.

The SwitchBlade features drain tubes to empty the cannister of water in the rain. The cover easily retracts with little effort. No need to get into the truck to operate thanks to the included pull strap. Protect your cargo and keep your bed clean with this versatile cover.

The design and install was flawless... Instructions were a bit confusing but the install videos on youtube clarified it. Excellent look very pleased

Easy to install, works as expected and looks good....now the BUT ... it's a little flimsy so the wind buffeting is so loud I can't drive with the sliding back window open. It's ok, but I would get a stiffer one next time.

Excellent. I was concerned at the time of ordering because it was much less expensive than comparable covers. I was afraid it would be of lesser quality, but I have to say I am blown away with the ease with which it installed and the quality fit for my Tundra short bed. I recommend this to anyone interested in a truck bed cover! Chris, Eustis, FL

I really like the concept behind the switchblade, it's simple to install, locks better than a flip cover and looks great. Now the but.....it rattles....at almost any speed, so the back window in the truck doesn't get used. I haven't figured out a good way to eliminate the rattle/noise. I will keep using the cover, but this part is disappointing, hence the 3 stars.

Advertised as having the smallest canister. That may be true at 10" but they left out the 3.5" of the cover that doesn't retract into the canister for a total of 13.5" of the unusable bed space. Far from water tight it leaks around the canister cover and at the tailgate during a car wash and a light rain storm. Haven't experienced a heavy rain yet. Installation wasn't bad and it does operate well and should be better theft protection than a vinyl cover. I expected a better job selling out water based on the reputation of Pave Edwards.

Took me a minute to get it installed, but it fits great and looks outstanding. I'm sure it will go faster once I do it a couple more times. Great product

Great product, easy to install, shipping was timely. Only reason not 5 star is rails need lubricant regularly. Came to site to see if any recommendations or product for sale have not found any. But still love this cover over toolbox.

Really nice cover. Installed in about 45 minutes with the help of a 6 yr old.. The drains are a little flimsy, & I wish the rear seal was longer, but overall a nice cover Bill Madison Heights Va.

By far the "easiest" to install, better than the Peragon for a $100 bucks less.Quick shipping was great! I only wish there was a way to eliminate any water from entering in during a normal car wash also if you made a black highly polished version. Thats why the 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, Im very happy with this purchase. I would recommend it to everyone, keep up the good work Pace Edwards!!!
